This vineyard was the first registered and authorized Danish vineyard.
It is situated near the town of Kolding 6 km from the sea and in close proximity of the lake Skærsø, after witch the vineyard and wine is named.
The vineyard covers 3.2 hectares and has more than 6.000 vines mainly of the following types: Rondo, Léon Millot, Regent, (blue = 60%); Orion, Pearl of Zala, Madeleine Angevine, Solaris (green=40%).
The following types of wines have been produces during all vintages: Red, White, Rosé, Sweet Dessert and Sparkling Wine.

De laver nogen rigtig gode vine. Priserne er lidt høje, men kvaliteten er også derefter.
