The amalgamation of foodstuffs, preparation techniques and herbs & spices from all over the world into what Peruvian cuisine is today seems like a journey filled with lots of flavours and aromas. This is one delectable gastonomic delight that needs to be savoured at length.

If you can not make the journey then a bit of careful shopping should enable you to replicate some of this magic in your own kitchen. Don’t be scared, cooking is an adventure where you can not hurt or damage yourself (unless you’re careless with your utensils) but can only delight and surprise your tastebuds!

Never really thought about eating Peruvian cuisine. It’s not something that instantly springs to mind, thou it seems pretty healthy and tasty. Will have to ask a friend out there to send me over a few more recipes

Peruvian Cuisine is one of the most popular cuisine in world. I love peruvian food specially Pachamanca. What’s fascinates me the most is that they use over 200 varieties of Potatoes in the food. Its quite amazing.

This is an excellent post. My partner is Peruvian and I tried to cook him Ceviche but it was not like in Peru he said. I understood when he took me to a proper Peruvian restaurant. I just did not have access to some of the ingredients. Would you be able to send me some more recipes from that book as I am very eager to try more Peruvian dishes.
