Here are the wines that appealed to my palate:

Chateau Du Champ Des Treilles, 2006, Ste. Foy
Cherry red, intense aromas of red fruits, and spices with delicate texture, integrated tannins and pleasant finish.

Chateau Du Champ Des Treilles, 2003, Ste. Foy
This mature wine is composed of 60 per cent merlot, 30-cabernet franc and 10 petit verdot, has a garnet red colour, aromas of berries, liquorice and spice. In the mouth it offers fruit purity, medium body and softness.

Chateau Vieux Riviere, 2007, Lalande de Pomerol
Ruby in colour, aromas of ripe berries with hints of vanilla, balanced, medium-bodied with a long finish. Enjoyable now, but can be cellared for two to three years.

Chateau la Grave, Grand Cru, 2005, St. Emilion
Crimson red, bouquet of candied berries, coconuts and spices. Soft and opulent with layers of flavours, full-bodied and long aftertaste.

Chateau Coutet, 2006, Grand Cru, St. Emilion
Ruby red, black- and blueberry aromas waft out of the glass, Opulent, with hints of truffles, and good minerality.

Chateau Fonroque, 2005, Grand Cru, St. Emilion
Crimson red with purple tinges. Fruity, balanced, soft and elegant with beautiful minerality. A fine wine to enjoy with roast leg of lamb or roast rack of lamb.

Chateau Pontet Canet, 2006, Pauillac
This is the only organic Château in Pauillac and the top of fifth growth according to the 1855 Bordeaux red wine classification.
Beautiful and brilliant red, complex fruit aromas, coffee and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine offers its complexity, elegance, refinement with silky tannins and long pleasant aftertaste.

Liber Pater, 2006, Graves
Composed of 60 per cent cabernet sauvignon, and 40 merlot, this ruby red wine offers berry aromas intermingling with vanilla, mint and eucalyptus. This exceptionally well extracted, deeply flavoured, layered wine is silky smooth and well balanced with a superb finish.

Delaforce Vintage 2003 Port
Dark purple verging on black, offering cedar, blackcurrant and plum aromas, in the mouth the wine is opulent, rich, and has a supple mid-palate.
The tannins are well integrated and the wine is enjoyable now, but can be cellared for at least five to eight years.

Quinta De Ventozelo Ruby Reserva
Consists of touriga nacional, touriga franca, tinta cao, tinta barocca, is dark, full bodied with smooth tannins.
