Barbera d`Asti Bricco Bianchi ( Tenuta il Sogno ) 2006

This wine tastes of fresh cherry. It has a great acid and it is very well balanced. The wine is somewhat slim in the taste, but has an extremely long and pleasant finish. Here, they have taken back for the little short finish in the Degli Amici wine. It has not quite so much ‘power’ but is rounder and more pleasant.

We normally begin to ‘taste’ the wine long before we starts to eat, so I must say that this was a joy without food.

We have been recommended to use decanter and large glasses to this wine, by those who know it best.

The food: lamb with mushroom sauce and baked potatoes.
